Lifeline Backrests
Turn your lifelines into comfortable backrests!Made of closed cell foam (will not absorb water) and covered with tough marine Sunbrella, Backsiders are designed to be left permanently on your lifelines. These are the highest quality lifeline cushions available and will last for many years exposed to the elements. Backsiders have a PVC pipe on the inside of the foam to keep the lifeline from cutting into the foam cushion. The inside diameter of the PVC pipe is 5/8 inch. End stops are cemented to the foam and PVC pipe to keep the foam from sliding. String ties at each end allow the cushions to be secured in place. After removal of the lifeline end fitting (pelican hook or turnbuckle) the lifeline slides easily through the inner PVC tube and the end fitting is reinstalled. Backsiders covers can be made in any color Sunbrella you want. If you don't see your color listed below, select "other" from the pull down menu and note the color you want in the comments box on the order form.
Backsiders are sold in sets of 2 and can be made in any length from 35" up to 94" inches. If you need a length which falls outside of what we have listed, contact us for a price quote
